Shims

http://www.yoyonation.com/product.php?productid=16237&cat=0&page=1

I would go with these shims-not too big gap not to small- its great

In my opinion, red and/or gray YYJ shims should be fine.

I would say the Mini-Motu. It weighs more, and has more rim weight, giving it more spin, has a better gap, its also smaller, so can be better for tricks. Also, it is made after the Motrixx, so its more modern.

I suggest metal shims:

No offence- Did i just say that in my last 2 posts?  ;D

In the second post about the shims does it come with the kk bearing.

No they are just saying that it can replace kk for the unresponsive factor for a cheaper price- you will not get a kk! ;D

Does the MoTu have a large bearing?

I would assume it is a Large YYJ size c bearing

No, it has a metric bearing (6x13x5 mm).

What size dorothy or kk can i fit on it?

Here is the KK

Yes it is. Therefore, you can replace it with any bearing of Size “C”.
If you want to replace it, I suggest the following in this particular order from best to least. (In My opinion.)
10Ball Bearing: Unfortunately, the link was taken away :frowning:
KonKave bearing: http://www.yoyonation.com/product.php?productid=16408&cat=259&page=1
SPEC bearing: http://www.yoyonation.com/product.php?productid=16799&cat=259&page=1
Dorothy Bearing: http://www.yoyonation.com/product.php?productid=16400&cat=0&page=1

There really is no reason to change bearings unless the stock one locks up. Stock bearings usually work fine.

All I can say since the rest seem to have you covored is: that a Motrixx is retired and a MoTu is not. (as far as I know.)
