i was wondering if it’s possible to put hubstacks on any of the “tic” yoyos? i.e. frantic hectic and so on?
No
and to add to that, why would you want to?
then why is there like some sort of drill hole on the sides? what are those for?
They’re surely not for putting hubstacks on.
Lol yes you can, as Samad sarcastically pointed out, but it’s hard. Just get something that comes with them, like the PGM.
I have a friend who hubstacked his hectic. It wasn’t that complicated either, the way he did it. He got a big axle then sanded the outsides of it so it was smooth, then he put a little piece on it, idk what it was. Then he put the bearing on and wala, It deosnt play verry good though.
are there any yoyos made without hubstacks that are intended to be hub stacked? since there IS hubstacks you can buy (YoYoFactory – YoYoExpert) that says complete hubstack set to hubstack COMPATIBLE YOYOS. i guess i’m just confused as to WHAT YOYOS ARE COMPATIBLE?
If a hubstack breaks, you buy a replacement
No, the Hubstack kit is for yoyos already with hubstacks, G5, 888, PGM, Skyline, Superstar, DNA. Also the C22 & C13 can accept hubstacks but are not recommended because of vibe.
alright. thanks for clearing that up.
I put hubstacks on the DV888 and it was not that hard. You just take the axle and hubstacks off of the grindmachine and use that but you have to dill just a little on the sides to make it work.
You never know until you try or someone else tries. ;D
There is a peace of metal making the axle not able to go through the side of the yoyo. You need the axle sticking out of the yoyo’s sides so you can attatch the hubstack from a grindmachine.
