I recently got my first spin top. I right handed and I’m not so sure how to roll it up.

Properly winding the top, getting the tension on the string right and the string the proper length, are super important. If your wind is too loose or the string is too short or too long, you will not have a good experience.
What top did you get? Some are notorious for not having proper string.

It is a forum just for spin tops and the folks are very helpful there.
Hope you are getting the hang of it, but if you are not, hang in there, it’s kind of rough to get started.
