How to Put in a Signature.

To insert a picture into your signature, you’ll need a few things.  First off, you’ll need an image.  Have one?  Cool, let’s move on.

Once you have the image, you will need to upload it to a hosting service of some kind.  Kim-Lan already has a great guide about this, so quoterific time.

Okay, here I will show you how to upload an image to ImageShack and include it in your message (or even your signature!). You can use any other website to upload your image if you want, but for this example I will be using ImageShack (http://imageshack.us)

I will be uploading a bigger version of this image:

First, once you are at ImageShack’s homepage look for this portion in the middle:

Click Browse and find the image you want to upload from your computer. Then click Open.

There are some various, simple options you can change, but you don’t need to add anything else. Click “start upload!” when you are ready.

You’ll be able to see the progress of your image as it uploads.

Once its done you will see this:

Take the Direct link from there and put it between [ img] [ /img] tags like so:

Make sure that you keep that code handy!

First, click on “Profile” as demonstrated below.

Next, click on"Forum Profile Information" as demonstrated below.

Finally, insert the the code kim-lan showed you how to write in the beginning, then click the “Change Profile” button at the bottom of the page.
