Hey guys, I want to know how to dye my FHZ.
I tried acetone, rit dye and water deal like normal and it didnt do anything.
I really hate dying through the boiling process because I’ve already destroyed one of my moms pots and the yoyo with it. Plus, you cant do any designs with it because the hot water melts any glue materials used.
Help me out here.
The acetone method is the way to go for a FHZ. Maybe you got the proportions wrong.

Eh just checking… does hot glue melt in the water? Because I’m going to mask my celcon yoyos and put them in the hot water… :’(
Also, generally, how you’ll do it is 3/4 water, and 1/4 acetone. Add dye. If the yoyo gets darker but stops, add more dye. If the yoyo doesn’t take in the dye, add more acetone.
It will melt the hot glue. Thats how I trashed my moms pot. Dyed hot glue got smeared ALL OVER it.
DO NOT PUT HOT GLUE IN THE HOT WATER.
White FHZ
Purple, with white streaks. (Lines of glue drizzled straight across in all directions)
Elmers glue won’t melt. Let it totally dry though.
