exacto knife worked really well with the OD c-clips, got them out first try.

True, but that’s why I said 90%. In the vast majority of cases, from what I know, flats just perform worse because there’s a reason concave grooves exist. But sometimes they feel nicer which is worth more to me personally
Really kinda just depends on preference and the response setup… there are pros and cons to all the shapes

It’s all about personal preference. I will admit I liked the pano with flats but I swapped my fat tire to a ds.
