I think the strings are kinda like kevlar so I’d think they would last for a LONG time. Mine have lasted for months and I have abused the crud out of them.
Kendama strings are relatively cheap ($1 for a basic white one), and they do last a long time. It doesn’t need to be replaced until the string is broken… But I replace mine when they start to fray pretty bad. Also, check out KenLab’s strings, they make some sick dyed ones!
I think he’s talking about diabolo string. I know the stuff from spintastics is thicker than others. I can’t imagine diabolo string fitting through a kendama, either, to be honest. What diabolo string is skinny enough?
