i take a train to the end of its line then a bus to get to the yoyo club i go to and its always worth it

We have a club member who is in a similar situation up until the winter, when I ref and can’t make club I was picking them up at the train, thank you for reminder to text them and offer my rides again I haven’t see them since Xmas

Thank you for your kind words, it’s been 9-10 years ago. The yoyo community in Vietnam has grown so much and the current group is more organized with exposure to many audiences, I think some are even broadcasted on TV.
If you ever travel to Vietnam, you can stop by 84store (the only store that is still opened) so you can get more info on offline meetings

I voted less than 1hr because that would be ideal but depending on mode of transit I’d raise that up to 1.5hr; going further is hard because the meets usually only last a couple of hours so having a 3hr round trip for a 2hr meet is a tough sell sometimes.
It’s about 45 minutes - 1 hr of a drive from my parents house to either of the Atlanta area meet up spots, always worth it.
In the Bay Area, it’s about 45 minutes - 1hr from my apartment to Alameda for SpinDox though they’ve recently been meeting at Central Park in San Mateo which is only a 15 minute drive away, super convenient. Unfortunately my car is out of commission but fortunately there is public transit that only takes about 30 minutes, though total time is 45 minutes b/c I need to walk from my apartment to the station. There were some meets in Berkeley I went to as well, that was about 1hr - 1hr15min of a drive. Unfortunately it’s easily 2 hours via public transit, but I’m not sure if those meets are still happening anyways.

I’m like 30 minutes away from the Nerd Mall in Woodbury NJ. My only issue is they meet like once a month on Saturday afternoons and I’m usually entertaining my kids or have other plans during that time.
Are there any clubs that meet in the evenings in the area (or anywhere)? At this stage in my life, once the kids are in bed, I have more freedom.

That’s the club I go too!! what’s up from outside philly!!! And as a matter of fact yes there is lol first Thursday each month when it’s nice is a recess intl club host a club off north street in Philly 6-9 but people have stayed late everytime I’ve attended, drinks, food, yo-yo and hanging one was postponed from last week till this week short notice but here’s a poster below
