How do you do a boings boing from a breakaway?

I realize its technically the same thing lol, but I just can’t seem to get into it. Any tips?

Can you do it frontstyle? If so, just do your break away, land a trapeze, insert your throwhand into the loop and boing. It should be the same thing.

it can be done from a trapeze, under mounted trapeze and all kinds of other things. You can make the “boings” go vertically instead of horizontally as well.

I go to a 1.5 mount, go over to the left (or right for lefties) then to the middle like in buddha’s revenge and boing from there. Sorry if none of this makes sense :).

If I’m going to boing up and down instead of sideways would I still move my fingers up and down? Or left right?

I can do a bounty boing from a 1.5 mount but cannot do it from the front mount style lol

Speaking from a front style throw, boinging up and down is kind of a seasick looking trick. You’ll be pulling the yoyo towards your body and away. It may seem odd, but watch Ben Conde’s off string Boing, he shows you the motion in that.
