How do I know a string is done

I’m currently changing string once a day is this often enough by the end of the day they are pretty frayed I yo most of the day (even at work) how do i know when the string is done for

The string is dead whenever you fell it is dead like you said you change them when it looks all frayed and crappy, also when it starts loosing its tension quicker.
