Holes holes holes!

I have a lot of yo-yos. There are a few specific focuses within my collection. Brands, colors, shapes, etc. But I am always most excited to find a yo-yo with HOLES! This started with the SPYY Radian Super Light, and I’ve been searching for similar vibes ever since.

That Hubless Doughnut looks like the “bite size” version. There is non-bite-size version that is significantly different. There is a museum page on that site with a store in Shibuya.

I have seen that one! Its funny to me that the wider one is called bite sized. I guess the other one has a larger diameter though? And a weird slim bearing.

Spinworthy Button comes to mind. I think there are other wood fixed axles with knot picking holes.

The original Doughnut is slimmer, but has a 76mm diameter and weighs 91g(!). Much larger hub hole though.

Boise Wolverine, Beaver, and Cricket have some nice holes. Need to get some of these into my collection for sure. I have a Pocket Dog and it rips.

Sengoku also released the Hanzo and Lotus.

The Hanzo felt unnecessary since I already have the Hattori. The Lotus is cool, but sucks to actually play. The style of holes catch the string so bad.

Yes ! I cannot remember its name .
It’s a responsive one machined in one piece and with half friction stickers applied with tweezers
