I got my Hitman Pro last week and the walls are not quite flat like people were saying. It still has a slight schmoove to it (look closely). Is this the case with everyone else’s? Just wanted to clear up that topic.

- Yes, I agree the HPro is schmoove (inverted commas), and is a really good throw.
- Yes, when the plastic meets the metal it isn’t smooth and sometimes it snags when you try and do finger grinds
- Don’t know if this was what you were talking about, but, the caps (inverted commas again) on my HPro are more like stickers, there are physical air bubbles that can be pushed around, don’t know if anyone elses is like this?
Overall I think it is a good throw though, better than any other YYJ I hav had.

I can’t really comment on the presence of a schmoove ring in the HM Pro because I’ve never tried one.
I interpreted #1 as answering the question, as agreeing that the walls are schmooved. I gave him the benefit of a doubt, but I could be wrong.
You haven’t tried a HM Pro yet? Find a way!

Technically, I thought schmooving meant that rings are cut into the inside of the shell beyond the bearing OD. I don’t think a slight concave inner wall is a schmoove.
I agree… It sounds to me like it’s a result from machine molding (or whatever yyj does).

Yes it is indeed supposed to be there. DrYoyo’s review mentions them and he has pictures of them.
Yeah, DrYoyo played with a Worlds release. But people were saying that the new release had flat walls. To which JD responded: “The Schmoove like rings went away because we wanted to make sure the ring to plastic attachment was as sturdy as possible. In the end its a better product for it.”
My point of this thread was to make it clear that the walls are not actually flat in the new release.
Which confirms my original comment that it is not schmooved… 
I probably shouldn’t be talking, since I have no experience with the yoyo… but I think schmoove and curved is getting tossed around a little.
I THINK what fiveironbrian’s trying to say is that the walls are curving a little, but curving the opposite of what they should be, in other words, curving into the material of the yoyo. Not a schmoove, which is a ring cut into the yoyo, but more of an indent. His point is, he’s wondering if that’s supposed to be there, because JD said that the walls should be smooth… Ima go check out the pics at YYS and see though… I’m probably wrong on this.
