My DM2 has cracks near the metal hubs is this normal?
How badly?
Can you get a picture of it?
Also did you over tighten it?
You probabbly overtightened it.
When did you buy it?
I believe I messaged Yoyojam before and they offered to fix my Atmosphere when I had a crack.
If you have the Receipt + 30 days within purchase you can send it back and they’ll send you a new one.
Of course how badly is it?
Does it wobble now?
No I didn’t over tighten it (I don’t even think its possible) but the cracks are not protruding into the body of the yo yo, they are on the surface of the plastic around the metal hubs. BTW there is no wobble. and i had it for 2 months.
I know it’s normal for older YYJ yoyos but not sure about the new ones.
I have a small crack (like the one you described) on my X-ConVict and it’s holding up fine (been a year or more.).

Well you have what I had.
My Old YYJ Atmosphere did the same thing.
Old YYJ’s have that kind of problem.
Plus I believe your Axle is probabbly the same old YYJ system.
If it’s a small crack it should work fine like what Trace said.
The DM2 doesn’t have the same axle setup as the old YYJ yoyos. The new solid spin axle system is not the same as they previously used.
Note I am not saying they won’t crack, just not the same as the older ones.
My DM2 has many cracks around the Solid Spin insert. They come from taking it apart and screwing it together many times. Don’t worry, it’s normal (At least I think so).
