Hi everyone, this is my first time back on the forum in a long time, been getting back into throwing a lot and I have been trying to learn black hops. I can get the first half of the trick most of the time but in the 2nd part the second hop where you intersect the string and catch the yoyo is usually where I fail. Most of the time the string loses tension and pops off my nth finger. Has anyone encountered this problem and have any suggestions? Thanks!

Try just hopping in that brother mount like just up and down and focus on keeping tension on the string. Then try reaching nth index over and cutting into the string for DoN and then try going back and forth. Then add the last hops. Focus on keeping tension on the string and bringing the hands together when you hop up to let the yoyo travel up and then just yeah reach out and cut into the string. Don’t let the string slide off. Trying out the vanilla eli hop from brother should help establish a good feel for the element before you move onto the next hop.
