Everything. You would have to have been there. Bapezilla………Bomb Sh*t P:$$7…….Fluchs……Slip Matte finish……Good times….
Sounds interesting! ![]()
You share some great insights in your post.
Yeah. Way too many yoyo brand names are not made to last. They should never sound goofy. Simple and dependable is what they should be. Names like ‘YoyoFactory’ and ‘CLYW’, and Japan Technology’ are spot on.
Oh… And ‘Spinworthy’, but ya know. Bias and all that.
Yep, I concur with Grendel
“I posted on the forums and only got this yoyo company name”
@DocPop shared some Anti-Yo branding backstory:
“Positive Spin”
We have a winner! But wait - does that mean you can only throw frontstyle with those yoyos?
Edit: I just realized this probably wasn’t a reference to particle physics.
Spinworthy is a great name for a yoyo brand. It contains an aspect of the product and a voucher for quality “…worthy”. And its fun to say too. ![]()
Thank you. ![]()
Just “Positive” maybe?
I had a similar situation and what helped me was teaming up with a marketingová agentura that could handle everything from brand tweaks to PPC and SEO in one place. It saved me a ton of time and the mix of consulting and hands‑on work made the results way more consistent. If you’re juggling too many tasks at once, that kind of setup can take a lot off your plate.
I really like Grin Spin! ![]()
The original name of Pop! Was going to be Hubris Yoyos, with our motto simply being “we make better yoyos" and leaning into the idea of high-end quality. While I eventually decided against it as hubris is a bad thing overall it lead to the acronym that Pop! stands for- Passion over Power.

So unless I’m missing something here, the guy that started this thread, looking for help naming a new yo-yo company, has been suspended for stealing in a trade.
And we are still taking turns thinking of a good name for his new boutique yo-yo company?
How about?…. Five finger discount return tops?
Honesty yo-yos.
You make them I take them return tops
Sticky fingers, skill toys.
Payless yo-yos
Etc…
Wow, he was a scammer? That’s the fellow who bailed on a Pay it Forward, I remember now. Intergrity Throws. Hey, atleast there’s plenty of fodder here for an up and coming company to scavenge something
