All of them you listed minus the warlock I do not know that throw.
Oasis is magnificent, you get a great smooth throw that is so choice. Has a very special sound when the string hits the side and when binding… worth every penny.
Markmont Classic and Opus are must have classic organic throws of different weights, and great players to boot.
It’s kind of small, but heavy. making it sort of floaty but also kind of dense? the shape is awesome too, it feels great to throw and catch, the surface is great for grinds too, if you’re skilled enough it does thumb grinds very well.
Im just trying to not buy a bunch more yoyos next year so I can focus on the ones I already have. I have a bunch of yoyos less than a year old.
The Markmonts really call to me though so I might look to grab one if I can. Oasis is in the mix just because it looks exelent and I believe there will be a new run sooner or later.
Anything in particular you recommend before I cut myself off?
I agree with this statement! It is a very special choice but I get to a point where it’s too loud on the string for me. Oasis just rings out constantly! Sometimes I just prefer a quiet throw session and oasis can’t fill that need.
I would recommend MC or MCMO. I’ve only played Magnum Opus and it is indeed one you’ll want to hold on to forever.
10 ball, lubed properly, smooth and quite.
SE’s of so many weight variations and shapes. Instead of buying yoyos, you could focus on collection these.
Many many color options for both the yo-yo, SE and string.
I might recommend a clear version as those dings and dents will just blend into the background and, any and all color SE / string with fit nicely.
