Hey guys, so I have a CLYW chief and i got it about a month ago. i play with it almost every day for about 1-2 hours. yesterday i got a knot so i unscrewed the yoyo, unscrambled the knot, and put it back together. after that i threw it and it started making a LOUD noise. the chief was almost dead silent until then. i looked at the bearing and axle and everything seemed fine. now everytime i throw it is REALLY loud and it starts to snag the string. Any Suggestions? HELP!!! ??? ??? :-[
Clean the bearing!
Then add a very small amount of lube
And your good!
Yep, it sounds like you got a little bit of muck moved around in there. A really good cleaning with paint thinner or one of the other solvents and a mimiscule drop of thin lube should fix that (look up one of the many videos on how to clean a bearing).
