Heavy fixies

As a recent convert to responsive throwing, I’m becoming more interested in 0A. I picked up a YYF Legend Wing on sale a while back; in the tiny bit I’ve tried to use it, it’s felt way too light for my liking. I would love to try my hand at turning one sometime, but I may trade/pick up one in the meantime if I can find one cheap enough.

Any suggestions for fixed-axle throws on the heavier side? Mostly interested in wood, but open to other options.

the spintastics manta ray is a plastic yoyo but it uses a wooden sleeve. there are weight rings around the rims of the yoyo. it clocks in at about 55 grams.

i’m not sure if you have a spinworthy dead ‘orse but it fits your description pretty well, all wood with lots of weight to it.

BC apollo is pretty heavy fixie from what i have heard. it is shaped like a TK flying camel.
