It’s a bit noticable, but will it affect my game play?

Is it a total crack in the yoyo, or just a scratch? If it’s a total crack, talk to YYF and they should replace it.
Well, if it plays fine and you still like it, just forget about it. If it makes it play different, do what Apetrunk said, which is send it to YoYoFactory.
Be careful playing with it though because if you bang on the floor or on the wall that small crack could turn into a very large crack. I would just do as ape says and contact YYF.
Well, there has been a cracking issue with them, most likely due to stressed plastic, not just too much abuse or anything like that.
The cracking issue they have been having lately is what I was referring to. I’m guessing that all these very bad cracks on north stars are due to a tiny crack to start out with and the plastic is overstressed. Then when you bump it on something that small crack is all of the sudden a big one.
