Okay so I’ve been trying to throw my trompo The conventional way which is cool but I’m struggling so I’ve been looking at different styles of how people throw and I came across this guy called Mig Bee who has a really crazy throw style but he’s amazing with Trompo.
If you’ve never heard of them, you guys have to watch his videos. I was outside learning the. Boomerang but I can do the boomerang better with his style of throwing than I can with the normal style of throwing when you have the tip pointed up. I’ve actually been able to throw my trompo better his way than the conventional way. I’ve also been able to do the boomerang once and catch it in my hand his way but I struggle the regular way.
I kind of like the way his style is and how he throws. It’s kind of weird at first, but I really feel like I want to learn his way than the other way. I just find his way to be so cool and I’m having a lot of fun trying his way.
I honestly love throwing my spin tops and I want to great at it! I’ve never had so much fun then throwing a spin top. To be honest with you, I’m thinking about getting rid of all my yo-yos. Maybe keeping a couple but I wasn’t having this much fun
There is a difference in the way people throw that are doing battle tops, trying to throw hard at another top and knock it away or break it. It is something you can learn, anything that works is legit. You will eventually probably learn a few different throws, some work better with larger or heavier tops.
If you are having fun and making the top do what you want it to, that’s what’s important.
I’ve been practicing the way that this mig Guy throws and I can 100% say it is phenomenal. Once you learn you can throw that spin top perfect every time and you can land it in any spot you want. I absolutely love the way that he throws and I got it down packed. I was never able to throw with the point up and get it to land. I was frustrated. I did around 150 throws with the point up and I could never land one. I think I got five out of 150 but the way he throws I can land it every single time.
And also the way that he throws I have actually been able to catch a few boomerangs with no problem. I really want to study this guy’s style and how he does things. I’m super locked in now
Yep, I follow MigBee on Youtube. Definitely a pro! I just saw his videos about the different backspin/underhand throwing style he uses; tried one tonight and flung my top across the room, so I think I need some more practice.
I’ve got it to the point now where I can throw my cobras the way he throws perfect every time tomorrow I’m going to go outside and start practicing boomerangs. I don’t want to do it inside because I’m not used to them yet so I don’t want to be flinging them across the house.
I love how he plays. He has fun with it. It’s a different style. He brings something new. The throw on the hat is crazy. I also like the ones where he can like throw on his shoe. The accuracy is nuts with this guy.
At first I struggled to understand how he’s throwing it, how he’s throwing it, but it’s actually super easy. I also have to be honest that I like my Cobra spin tops better than I like my yoyo factories. I think the Cobra spin tops just have more mass. They just feel more meaty. The yoyo factory ones are nice. They just feel too cheap but I’ll keep them. I mean they were what 10 bucks for both so I’m not going to complain but I think the Cobra ones are better
