Has anybody compared the fruit loop ES to the old fruit loop?

Who here has bought both fruit loops and can give me a comparison. I’ve heard the old fruit loop was very mixed and not a lot of people enjoyed it. Some people did though, but I’m wondering what the new fruit loop ES brings to the table. Your thoughts on it?.

Feels more substantial mainly. Also I prefer the catchzone a lot more, the jutting out response area always felt a bit crunch to me

A little heavier, but still balanced comparatively, not nearly as weighty as you would think from the specs. More weight to the rims too so it has better spin and stability. But wider as well with a better catch zone. I always thought the OG felt more novelty, was still fun but not a frequent grab. The ES really focused on pushing it into a way more playable category.

Hm… a wider T*rtle, you say?

To keep relevant to the thread, my budget is clawing for an opening because I LOVE my Fruitloop and I am hyped for the ES.

Never thrown the old one but I love the new fruitloop. Super fun and comfy organic. Plenty stable

My buddy and I did a half swap and turned our fruitloops into Applejacks

Fun review, though fwiw they now say in the comments that they don’t recommend it. But they also seem to say they haven’t played the OG, so maybe it’s still better than that.

I have an OG and its in the same realm as an Inhaler. I played mine recently and feel kind of the same, it looks cool though

Yes we need a wider turtle and enough so everyone can buy one. I cant seem to get anyone to sell me one unless it’s a price hike.

can anyone confirm that the removable rings are a feature by design and not me messing up my fruitloop :sob:

:index_pointing_up:The above was mentioned in the write-up for the original Fruitloop release. So while not explicitly a feature, certainly an option!

The rings are press-fitted, so they’re not designed to be taken out and put back repeatedly, but if you’re handy or have a clamp/press at home, and you’re really looking to mix it up with the colorways, it’s possible to do it safely.
