Happy End of the year or whatever!

Hi.
This is a counter weight to the christmas topic.

So, if you are not religious and still come togheter with family or so, you can share that here.
Or, if you just want to share the fun you have at the end of the year.

I wish you all a graet wintertime! :snowman: :snowflake:

I start with a little link to the UN humans right declaration:

https://www.ohchr.org/en/human-rights/universal-declaration/translations/english

… not the least for the beauty of the first article:

" Article 1: All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood."

A sentence, that should be shared more often, in my opinion.

And for the people, who feel alone in the dark of winter (at least in the USA):

A picure of two bearnies mountain dog puppies. The swiss national animal is the Bernhardiner, but these two little guys from my neck of the woods are just as adorable.

In the interest of giving this space a go, till the turn of the year, I add these pictures of my dog opening his present for our winter-family-party yesterday. Please excuse my rough images, the camera and I were struggeling in the low light setting.

Maybe someone could also chip in, with a non-dog post. :man_shrugging:

My wife and I celebrate the pagan holidays, such as winter solstice, but the fam sticks with Christmas due to momentum lol. Either way, winter is a good time to take stock of what you have and be thankful for all the good in your life.
