Which one do you prefer and why?
I prefer the halo, The sweeping catch zone just appeals to me and fits nicely in my hands. the TA-1S just feel bulky and unnatural, could just be my hands but that my opinion on it.
The TA has more rim weight than the halo which is more center weighted, they both spin for around the same amount of time (Maybe the TA spins a little longer due to weight dist. but don’t quote me I don’t own it).
The TA has more of a IRG, the halo doesn’t have one (Think protostar sort of setup, the inner body juts out too much to fit a thumb in there).
I prefer the way C3 uses the hub system aswell, I really like having my blue hub with a blue string, might just be me but I like to match colors with yoyos. The TA is just a bog standard chrome hub.
That’s really all there is to say, take what I’ve said with a pinch of salt as I don’t own a TA I’ve played with them but the Halo is the one I went with and love it everyday.
