I’m almost certain you’ll need to replace them. I’d pull them before dying the yo-yo, then replace them with clear pads or sili, which will look really nice.
y’all got any ideas?
@YoYoExpertGarrett are the caps removable?
I don’t think there meant to come off.
ok.
Just like with the bolt - They aren’t deigned to be removable… but they can be.
Take the Replay apart. Place it on a flat surface with the bolt sticking up. tap it a few times until the bolt and cap break free:
Once the bolt is loose, screw it into the other half and repeat. There is only glue on the bolt side so this second one should be easier just to remove the cap.
NOTE: Using my “hit it with a hammer” method can damage your yo-yo and I take zero responsibility if something goes wrong. Proceed with caution.
wouldn’t this completely strip the threads?
There are no threads in the plastic. The bolt threads into a small nut, which is not affected.
OH, duh! i’m stupid
haha stupid is about the last word in the english language I would use to describe you!
you’d be surprised.
i want a yoyo with massive rims for cheap…er, any suggestions?
Define cheap.
hmm… $60? or less.
Here’s a few.
thank you!
I like the edges…monster edge is very cool, fun and im always amazed at how that fat guy gets into and out of support flow combos.
i wanna try the Monster Edge, it looks super fun.
MVP 3 has insane rimweight for 50 bucks. It actually feels weird to play (in a good way).
Lest anyone be confused, he’s not talking about the musical instrument here. It’s one of these:
Sounds like the free gloves are frosting on the cake.
