Oh I’m in deep doody this upcoming week. Told my GF I was just getting a Peak because childhood, she has noooo idea about the 28 Stories Klondike also coming

So, this is a new one for me.
I was throwing the Death Adder v2 this morning and noticed that my binds weren’t tight. I thought this was odd and maybe something got on the pads…nope. The pads are GONE. Not just worn out, completely missing. lol.
I think i see a little piece of response in there…
i was going to flow silicone in there but that takes a while to cure and i was in the mood to throw this piece, so i saw these green pads in the yoyo tackle box. not sure what kind they are but they look cool
they work fine but i don’t like how thick they are, so they probably wont last. i’ll flow some silicone in there later tonight.
looking around, i figured out what happened, though there wasn’t much in the way of choice. this is really the only viable explanation.
pads came loose, ripped and were cast into the unknown beyond. lol.
this happen to others? i’ve had pads come loose while playing but i’ve noticed and replaced them. i’ve never had them completely disappear on me.

That’s pretty interesting. I’ve had pads fall out while throwing, but never completely rip off like that! Especially both sides in the same general timeframe.
Those green pads are likely the YYF green pads. They are extra thick since they’re meant to be used on the beginner responsive yoyos.

I have never been more excited for a yoyo than I am this Klondike coming today. Which also makes me kinda nervous because if I don’t like it I’m gonna feel like an idiot lol. I will throw it all day every day and become one with the thing if I have to

Well on the first throw it mocked me. “That’s all you got? Oh my god please get good before you ever throw me again.” Humbling to say the least.
No seriously it’s way outta my league lmao but that’s okay because it makes me wanna push myself and learn things I know this yoyo is capable of (I think damn near anything)

So you finished your combo and it had spin left for days? Seems pretty sick to me lol have fun also like there shouldn’t be a skill requirement to enjoy a Yoyo like just throwing and binding a super nice Yoyo is fun imo but it is sick that you’re feeling motivated to learn some stuff and one day I hope you do become one with the yoyo hah

Nah man you know me by now I’m usually just joking on here and having fun haha. I don’t feel like I need to be this or that to throw or own a certain yoyo, but I do have a competitive attitude towards myself (if that even makes sense lol) and I just always feel I gotta get better! And even though I’ve thrown it 5 times…6 as I type this, I have a feeling I’m going to really enjoy it. And it’s gorgeous so,
