Gear 2, The Brolly, and SSJ GOD MODE by ENSO!

Gear2_Feature
The Gear 5 proved ENSO could build a serious competition yo-yo. Gear 2 asks whether that same feel could shrink down without losing anything, and the answer is yes. Built as the mini version of the Gear 5, Gear 2 also carries reworked shape details that set the stage for a future full-size release coming soon, tying the whole lineup together.

Gear 2 runs slightly larger than typical minis, and that small difference changes everything about how it plays. Testers found it handles like a full-size yo-yo despite its compact footprint, making it a genuinely useful training tool rather than a scaled-down novelty. A thick stainless steel rim backs that up with real stability and long-lasting spin, giving players something dependable to actually train tricks on rather than just something small to carry around.

The Brolly has earned its reputation as one of the most beloved yo-yos in the ENSO lineup, delivering exceptional performance paired with a genuinely enjoyable feel every time you throw it. At 56.5mm in diameter, it strikes that hard-to-find balance between stability and agility, wide enough to throw with confidence without ever feeling oversized.

Feedback from testers and players alike has been consistently glowing, and it’s easy to see why. The Brolly carries a premium, substantial feel in the hand that makes every throw feel refined rather than ordinary, and it backs that up with a genuinely satisfying sound during play, a crisp, resonant tone players have compared to titanium. That combination of feel and sound turns even a simple throw into something worth paying attention to.

SSJ_God_Mode_Feature
Every legacy needs a strongest form eventually. SSJ God Mode is ENSO’s, inspired by Levi White and a deliberate return to the competition-focused design philosophy that built the brand in the first place. To get there, the team went back to where it all started: the UI, ENSO’s very first yo-yo and its debut into premium design, originally built in titanium to achieve exceptionally thin walls without sacrificing strength.

SSJ God Mode brings back that original UI profile, but swaps titanium for premium 7075 aluminum, preserving those signature thin-wall characteristics while making the design more accessible. The name itself is a deliberate nod to anime’s strongest transformation, and it’s meant as more than just flavor text, ENSO considers this one of the strongest-performing yo-yos they’ve built to date. It’s engineered to handle everything thrown at it, from horizontal play to technical combo sequences to high-speed banger transitions, without missing a beat.

Gear 2 is one of the Best Mini Medium Class (40-45mm Diameter) yoyos that I have ever thrown. And its the most affordable at $60! If you notice low spin times check your bearing. I ended up replacing mine but you might can just clean it if you have problems. I probably just had a bad one. Other than that everything about it is great. Even the packaging feels premium.
