If it helps, I don’t think you caused it, but that’s when I saw the writing on the wall and the timer started. If you’re unaware, source machining, in and of itself, has always been a contentious topic, but when it shows up in a topic, it basically opens the gate (a la monkey see, monkey do); even if there’s no malicious intent.
If anything, it’s the politics of the yoyo world (and it also, inevitably, leads to a broader discussion of politics, which is a hop and a skip away from locking the thread

It got uncomfortable for everyone who wasn’t fighting, like mommy and daddy yelling at each other in day care while all your friends watch. I’m not going to talk about what happened specifically, but effectively, tangentially yoyo stuff was brought up that involves real world politics

Welllllll we don’t wanna go shutting down the meme thread, things just got a little out of hand around “canceling” people and some other geopolitical things also, I missed the end of it. A few tried to right the ship but she took on too much uhh… salty water
