"Formations" - A study on changing shapes and pictures

Years ago, contest declared that picture tricks would no longer score in competition. The art of picture tricks was largely lost following that set of changes and as a result, many of the famous picture tricks we grew up watching faded away.

As a younger player, I always had a fascination for intricate and changing picture tricks and the unique way many players presented them. This video is a showcase of many tricks of this type. Some of these are my own creations, some of them are other players, and some are inspired by the ones who created similar before.

Sit back and enjoy, and may you find some inspiration to create these sort of tricks yourself.

yea thats kinda lame they took out the points in comps… comps are impressive, but imo can be boring… how many tricks can you cram into the time frame… imagine from a non throwers perspective (it really all must look the same)

but as far as picture tricks go, they are the coolest when they whip out of seemingly nowhere. fully caught off guard then bam

Even to me, a thrower, it all starts to look the same! Not that I’d want to watch an hour of picture tricks either.
