Fixed Axle February-Week 4

That is a gorgeous set! :yo-yo:

Can we get a shot of the guts that make it a fixie?

I don’t have it with me at the moment  but – On the bearing side the bearing lock is underneath the bearing so you won’t see it. So this is essentially what it looks like as a fixie.

And on the opposite side without the bearing you’d see a bearing lock on the seat, similar to this

I want it Wayne. I want it bad.

Here’s a recapture, a kickflip, and a Split the Atom. I had hoped to get Dump Trucks but my wrist is wrecked and I’m taking a little break. Maybe if the yo spirits favor me I will heal up by Friday and squeeze out another one! If not then thanks for the opportunity and good luck and happy yoing to everyone.

The break looks similar. Wonder if this is a material issue? Mine was smashed in my pocket.

But Mr. Eric ( @Eric_Newlin ) is a Gentleman and a man of his word.

Its hard to blame the axle, I threw it really hard, broke a sketchy string I knew was kinda sketchy when I put it on, and it flew into other objects with alot of force. This is why I generally don’t throw my nicer wood yoyos as much as butterflys and other plastic fixies… I know I can break them if i go hard for a trick and they are not as easily replaced. My tk mandala is too pretty and I’m afraid to hurt it because its basically irreplaceable. Lucky for us it appears Eric is just getting warmed up and Glen is still hanging tough, more wood throws are coming…

3 out of 4 this week! I’m quite happy with about this FixedAxleFebruary went (considering it’s my first one :D). Thanks to all the organizers :heart_on_fire:

Sorry for the bad camera angle… I have to improve (also) my film director’s skills…

Hi, you! And hi, you, too! This month was really cool for me and I’m pretty sure it was because of fixed axle February. I looked forward to every post and tricklist, thanks for everything, everyone!

The way you do dumptrucks is cool! It cuts through all swift and… disciplined? I dunno, but I’ve never seen it like that!

It the RSO Ti Silver Bullet but ya, it’s so super smooth with the blank in it. Running 100% nylon from BadWolf.

I’ve got the OG Silver bullet and an SB2. I can’t seem to play them as well. Maybe after some time of honing this fixed axle play I’ll get better with them. Hunting for a SB3 if anyone has one!!

Loved your video too!!

Slapped a blank on my Weekender for week 4. Next year I’ll try to have a better camera.
