Hahaha it had not occurred to me how suited the FirstYo could be for hand balances. Next up - griptape rims! But heck yeah dude - use what fits the trick and count it for sure!

You will get it, Keep your finger close to the yoyo when it flips & make sure string tension is neutral

Mostly just struggling with the speed and height of the flip. And my own lack of coordination.

You probably already get this, but the trick is definitely to put your finger where the loop WILL be and then make sure it goes there, as opposed to trying to CATCH the loop with your finger. Subtle change in mindset, but it makes a dif. Especially on things like Archery Flip - there’s just no way to “catch” 3 loops. You have to arrange your fingers into the position where they will catch them and then just have them in the place where the loops will inevitably be. Then the job is just getting the loops there rather than “catching” anything. Again I’m sure you’re already doing this, and you’ll get the trick.

Bricked Bearing Week!!! What better throw to show off the DNA than the champion with the most Matador spike ownage in history, the YYBC Operator (powered by G2). I couldn’t let the opportunity pass by, and with a bricked C-Bearing, it’s actually surprising how well the Operator plays as a fixie. A throw of many talents!
Varial Bird kicked my butt unfortunately. With the combination of my big sausage fingers and an Essential Tremor in my hands, there was no real way I was going to pull off a balance of this feat. I tried, even with a Fixie-fied Big Fun, still no bueno. Big Fun Fixie was entertaining at least.
