Like this? Kinda. It’s actually starting to feel fun. I wasn’t expecting that. Might start messing with mystic dumping more lol
Sorry for the shite lighting.

I actually just died from laughing
This is actually how I do all my tricks, even the unresponsive ones.
Um kind of. I would double back to the tut. It should be like houdini, then when you go for the first flip, nth thumb turns to point towards yourself kinda. Then for the second flip, don’t keep the string on th index, drop it as you flip and it will kinda help lock the yoyo into place better. Also for the second flip, you kinda turn the thumb so that it goes like down almost and then forward. When you drop the string to the back at the very end, you should resolve into a trapeze but over the thumb like there shouldnt be a twist you have to untwist like in your vid. You can see all this in jerrods vid just like run it back and look for those things. It seems harder to do it like this because more steps need to be executed all together, but it makes the trick feel easier to land when you do it like that or it did for me at least
@GTDropKnot Sick!
@Yodaddyo Yeah, like Henry said:
first mystic = thumb rolls in(pointing towards you)
second mystic = thumb rolls out(pointing away from you). Release TH index here too.
Also, I’ve seen some people have trouble with getting the loop to drop below the yoyo. For this, you can move your hands up just a split second before you flick the loop, not enough to bounce the yoyo off the string, just a soft upward motion with your hands at the right time to suspend the yoyo and strings in the air for a split second as you flick the loop back so it has that little moment to go down below the yoyo and sucked into the gap, because gravity pulls the yoyo down as soon as the loop is released and starts to pull the loop closed, so that little moment of bringing everything up gives a split second of everything suspended in the air so the loop can get under the yoyo before it’s sucked in

Really excited for another year of Fixed Axle February! So much content, so much fun, and can’t wait to see everyone’s vids! I’m already learning so much just in the first week!
Thanks to all the amazing sponsors, all the peeps on the forum, and my fellow YYBC members!
Bonus at the end, also, my Ghost Trap turned into a Ghost Tower at some point, still not entirely sure how that happened, but thought it was cool, haha!

Holy freakin guacamole!
Collin! Killin’ it dude!!!
That flamingo was beautiful and looked so effortless. All the tricks were excellently executed. And the editing was fire as always. Very cool dude.
You ghost trap folks are making me jealous
Soon enough… soon enough.
Haha, thank you kindly, I really appreciate it!
One of my buddies said something similar, and I told him “that’s just because you didn’t see like the 30GB of video I had to trash” lmao!
The flamingo was surprisingly difficult for me too, that took a while, lol. Ghost trap was killing me for a bit, then I finally realized there was a little thumb rotation that was happening on the non-throw hand that I had been missing after watching the video over and over, that really helped once I realized as well.
That poor fan.
However it wouldnt be a Son of Morris production if it didnt participate.
Legendary! And proving the hard way that you don’t need matching yoyos too.
Hydr0A tip:
To keep loops going in the same direction manually flip the yoyo 180° the way it would in a regen.
Without flipping the yoyos will want to go 2r, 2l, 2r, 2l

For everyone’s information. I totally forgot to mention that @Nic_from_Adelaide and I talked sometime back about these counterweights and he is the one that suggested giving them away in some contest. The reason I’m saying this is because; looking back, my words made it seem as though it was all me and my idea. But Nic and I worked this out together. I like to give credit where it is due. I apologize Nic. There was no malice intended… I just have trouble keeping things straight in my head and I just dropped the ball. Once I realized this, I just had to make it right. Now… back to the fun. Thank you Nic!!
You’ve got it brother!! Looking great!! DM me your info and get that in the mail at the end of the week.
Way to go Jesse. Have a look and make your pick, then DM your address to me and I’ll get that ready to mail out at the end of the week.
No worries, I didn’t read it like that. I think you’ve volunteered for the harder part running a giveaway anyway.
I’m stoked to be getting people excited about yoyos. Just got a badge for 25+ people from the Aus Yoyo FB group clicking my link
Hey, I’m an idiot and have a question. For the beginner series are trapeze stall and sidewinder separate tricks or do you need to complete both for one entry? Or do you score two entries if you do both? Thanks.
Both. Doesn’t have to be together in the same trick set but both equal an entry. They are fundamental responsive tricks so learning them is the only way to get into the tricks further into the event.
Welcome to the fun and welcome to the community.
