Thanks bro! I ain’t gonna lie, coulda been smoother tho. To my taste i spent too much time in the trapeze stall and then there’s that little stick when exiting the first lunar stall. Now i sound like a douchebag…

At present I think I’m only accidentally hitting the trapeze stall. I’ve hit it but I’ve not yet felt a repeatable sequence of motions. Practice practice.

Man if i can sugest something: if you are doing tricks that require no sleep, DOUBLE WRAP your string.
That way you dont need to worry about the tug and the yoyo comes back itself. That way i think all of the basic stalls are much easier. Alternatively, i think a little lip balm on the string could help with the response.

I’ll give that a shot. I have motor control issues and so far it seems like the motions necessary are very subtle, more subtle than I can pull off at present. Light throw, light tug…I have one fixie that basically auto returns and I’ve tried that and it comes back very fast. The motions are very different and new so it might take a few days to catch on. So far I’m either spinning out of control and losing all spin, or bashing myself here, there, but not quite everywhere yet.
