First thoughts on my PNWR pick ups

Eternal Throw Victory: the ano is amazing. It plays incredibly smooth. The side effects are a nice touch. It’s a monkeyfinger edition b grade(for one purple splinter) and it plays like a grade. It has a very soft finish that’s great for finger grinds. No IRG but with ultra lights I believe they could be achieved

Square Wheels Artifact: I got this over a lucky buy. It was 40 bucks from The guy I bought it from. It is smooth. It has spikes but can’t achieve matador with it :frowning: but it can do the Mo-Mo finger spin. Really stable. The finish is nice for grinding.

King Yo Star Scorpion King: it’s my new favorite. I got it for 35 because of a bad bearing(that’s what they consider B grade. I got lucky). The pads are the snappiest response I’ve ever tried(over flowable silicone and all the premier pads from YYF) and the yoyo doesn’t feel the weight it is. They say its 70+ grams. It feels like its a 66 gram throw. The spikes work decently for matador(if you can’t tell yet I love playing matador with spikes haha) but you can balance it horizontally on the flat part for MoMo finger grinds.

One Star: slight vibe, awesome cap work, fun. That’s all I can tell you about it. It’s just fun to throw. It’s probably the most fun I have had throwing a YoYo since I got a Duncan Mayhem.

All but the one star will get reviewed within the next two weeks so be on the look out

Can.not wait to hear your thoughts:) What was the selection like at the different booths?

It was an awesome selection. There was Yoyojam there with a ton of their throws, Monkey FingeR had their new Lesula(it’s interesting but I couldn’t get a straight throw with it so I didn’t buy it), JD was there with a bunch of One Drop, Magic Yo, and YYF stuff. YYE was there with string, pads, bearings, trading cards and all that jazz. There was also G2 there from some store I wasn’t familiar with. Plus, there were so many people from different teams selling their teams throws.

The only throws that I am aware of by Square Wheels is the Royale, Rex, and Rockefeller. Blake from Square Wheels couldn’t make it to PNWR to even sell the Rex and Rockefeller because of a Blizzard in Kansas. Is it possible you got a prototype of the Rex or Rockefeller from someone or that it’s a different brand all together? I’ve never heard of the Artifact before…

The artifact is not a square wheels yo-yo. What color is yours?

It’s a prototype. Chris has pictures of it on Yoyoskills

Gengi, I was skeptical as well.  Here’s what I found.
