FingerBoards

Appreciate that! I ordered wheels and trucks and some new driver bits but neglected tape.

Fingerboards are dangerous for me. I constantly find myself looking at cool decks and hardware, but can BARELY do anything cool with the board @GnarlyCharlie sent me.

I keep trying, but my hands are so bad.

Doesn’t stop me from constantly playing with my board, though!

Same, I just blame using a Tech Deck lol. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out which fixie I’d be okay trading to offer @Lydia lmao

I anticipate 3d printing a ramp or something and just pushing it around during work calls mostly :joy:

I have a rail that I bought, and a block of wood I use as an obstacle/skate surface. I do a lot of ā€œpushing aroundā€ and Shove-Its

Try doing an Ollie, but speed your fingers apart while popping. Or if that’s not working, do an Ollie and then move your wrist in the motion of turning a doorknob.

Same but they are all so precious lol I might just have to offer coin for boards

I started working on making some more last night. It will probably be a week before I have any completed. I was thinking $25 for a natural wood complete and $30 for one with a graphic. Keep in mind, the handmade decks are great quality, but the trucks, wheels, and grip tape are just good. My goal is to make something affordable for someone looking to get into fingerboarding. Simply put, don’t expect Blackriver trucks and Flatface wheels. :joy: They will definitely be able to perform any trick you throw at them, though! (And are much better than Teak Tuning and in the same price range)

I need to find a source for cheap tracks/wheels so I can offer a complete option for not that much more.

I bought my stuff from Alibaba. It took purchasing from many different vendors before I found one I was happy with. FYI: even if they tell you the wheels are urethane with a soft durometer, they will always be hard plastic :joy:

Like everything else I would solve it via 3d printing.

Hmm that’s an interesting idea.. I wonder if they’d still have a grippy feel

I can print as low as 70a shore so I suspect so but I don’t really have experience with fingerboards to say if it would play perfect or not.

Dude Guy wheels, some of the most popular wheels out there, are printed. He makes them out of recycled skateboard wheels too, but has an option for printed wheels as well. When he’s not making wheels I believe he’s an aerospace engineer, so I’d like to believe he knows what he’s doing.

That’s what I was thinking. I may need to place a bulk order as well. They may be cheap, but still better than tech deck components.
