Fingerboards are dangerous for EVERYONE. Did you know that fingerboards are responsible for more ER visits than all other finger toys combined?? No… they don’t tell you that do they? Oh no… they just want you to believe it’s all fun and games until you’re at the hospital with a twisted phalange. Or worse yet…. A broken finger…nail… a broken fingernail. There.. I said it. Be more responsible. Post some PSAs or at least put a warning label on them. Peace Out!!

I’ve never tried out a fancy real wood fingerboard but I’ve been known to screw around with a tech deck or 2. I remember when they came out in elementary school, I’m glad they’re still around. These are my 2 currently. Both have bushings and bearing wheels installed. What a difference that’s makes!

Hey everyone! Haven’t been as active on on the forum as usual this past year. Still throwing every single day though!
Recently really been trying to grow my fingerboard company and it’s been occupying a lot of my screen time. I just wanted to share some really cool review and unboxing videos I’ve been getting tagged in this past couple weeks. Thought maybe there’s some crossover and some of you would enjoy.

So I found out my local Zumiez carries “real” fingerboard completes like Slushcult Groms, and they had the exact one I saw online that I knew I wanted, so I had to pick one up last week in my way out for travel.
I am blown away!! The wood deck is so crisp and the foam grip is unreal, and was also fun to set up. The bearing wheels, while still plastic, feel really good. I did need to pick some plastic debris out from the back of the wheels/ bearings from their pressing process, but once cleaned and blasted with a little butane, dried and lubed with some V4M, they are killer.
I also reshaped my favorite modern tech deck to match the groms shape, foam gripped it. I also smoothed out the crappy molded wheels and added some graphite lube, as well as adding pivot cups I made from wire insulation.
Comparing this new Grom to my OG from back in the day is wild. Funny thing is, I made a MASSIVE skill leap with the new one that had transferred to the tech decks that I used to be super frustrated by. They are still kinda wack, but now I can kick flip them pretty regularly. Especially this popsicle gen one lol, pretty funny.
I love finger boards, i cannot stop click clackin, i even started using a drum pad for a practice spot to keep the noise down.
I must restrain myself from splashing out on more. I really want to try some urethane wheel tho! And man do I want to build a jersey barrier so bad hahaha, I need more time and materials!!!

Rad! I always want to post fingerboard stuff here but I’m too self conscious about posting too much on a yoyo forum haha. Slush just started wholesaling board from my fingerboard company last month, I’m pumped!

One of my youngest’s friends is into fingerboarding and has been building his own concrete park. Dying to try it myself!
They actually spent the afternoon fingerboarding downtown the other day, and the kid was completely enamored by my Chicken I let my kid borrow.

Dream setup currently is a chicken board with joy cult x independent trucks with Illpillz or flatface blister wheels.

@SlowThrow I know…The last drop I did sold out so quickly, and then I had wholesale orders and event sponsor packs to complete, so I fell behind on the main website drop. All I need to do is clear coat and apply graphics, and then this drop should be complete! This next drop is going to have a lot of new stuff too other than decks
