Thanks! Yeah I have a stack I’ve been procrastinating on routing out. Just got a new mold a few weeks ago for more of a “techy” feel.
Sick! Just gave you a follow on insta!
How’s the mold, is it more medium/high kicks? O something different?
Awesome! I haven’t really been posting on it regularly. Me and my buddy are trying to film a video part before we get the website up and start updating socials.
I’m doing 2 molds and both are only 34mm shapes:
1st mold is the street thrasher. Lower concave, noticeably longer nose to help control when seshing rough terrain, longer wheelbase and longer length.
2nd mold is the tech one. Standard 56mm wheelbase, 96mm length, med/high concave, and med kicks.
At the moment we’re really only making boards we want to play with and just hoping others will too.
@rkalajian I would happily mail you a deck, but if you’re just wanting to start dabbling it would probably be best to get a complete so you won’t have to hunt down all the components separately.
I don’t mind hunting. Most of my interest lies in putting ■■■■ together
Well in that case, sounds good! Let me dig through what I have on hand and I’ll send you some goodies.
Very clean looking decks
I have not fingerboarded in some time, but here is a small edit i made when i went street skating with some homies last year
Awesome seeing Fingerboarding represented in these Skill Toy realms
I’m rocking my Teak Deck for a while now and it still pops like day one.
@GnarlyCharlie Really awesome work there. Your Decks look hella fun. The 2nd mold you mentioned sounds pretty intriguing I must say I don’t have social media so unfortunately I can’t give you a follow but do you have clips on YouTube perhaps. Would be nice seeing these Decks in action. Keep it up
Incredible skills mate and nice crew too Enjoyed your edit very much. Felt nostalgic but yet fresh. Thanks for sharing.
Very sick video. Street videos are my favorite ones. A few years ago no one was making street videos, I’m super stoked that it’s becoming the new meta. In So-Cal sometimes you’ll be exploring around and randomly come across fingerboard DIY spots. You gotta keep that thang on you!
Here’s one I found in Orange County off a walking path:
Another one in LA off a bike path:
And yes, other adults do look at you very oddly while filing fingerboarding in the streets in the middle of the day on a week day. Kids get super hyped though lol.
Thanks for the props guys @Thruwell @GnarlyCharlie!
Yeah, outdoor spots are very fun but challenging if you don’t have perfect ground.
I have always wanted to build a sick outdoor spot after watching the FF Videos
ASI Berlin here in Germany is hosting King of Berlin where teams battle in a Trasher King of the Road style format:
I love watching the KOB edits. I messaged Slush about trying to organize a King of Slush here in So-Cal but he didn’t think we had enough interesting street spots. I beg to differ though.
Here’s another cool DIY I snapped some pics of:
I love how these DIY spots are basically functional graffiti!
Man haven’t played with a finger board I. Forever
All of those decks are super awesome. I love in this video how much the sounds the board makes are so very similar to a life sized board. I never got much into skateboarding but I hung around a lot of people who did. It’s time for all things old to become new again… if you build it… I never saw anybody doing actual tricks with these fingerboards that I can remember. You can pull off some pretty amazing stuff on those but I can certainly imagine the looks you get playing with them in the street
I love the no fingerboarding sticker.
Crazy how many spots you have found already! Imagine how many are hidden somewhere. I believe the skate DIY scene is bigger in America than here in Germany. I have skated at 1-2 secret spots in some old storage halls, but unfortunately, I have not yet found any FB diy spot.
Have you been to Dog S**t Park in Berlin? I’ve seen there a pretty cool fingerboard DIY there.
