Finally figuring out the stretchy nylon!

It’s taken me about 10 failed strings, but I’ve finally got a formula and technique for this stuff. Been using wooly nylon and maxilock stretch. Had to do an Astros themed string to celebrate their win today!

Those look great.
Someone point me to the instructions on how to make my own strings. Seems like everyone’s doing it and the results look legit. I love good string and I love saving a buck even more so it might be time to get in the string game.

Here’s a few links! It really is pretty fun once you get the hang of it! There is a lot more info out there regarding rigs and formulas for string. @MarkD has a great rig! @smileypants707 gave me some great advice regarding materials (thanks again btw!!) he also has a ton of info throughout the forum!
You definitely don’t need a rig, but it is pretty helpful when it comes to consistency in your strings.

Edit: careful btw it’s a very slippery rabbit hole! :joy:
