does anyone know where i can find a tutorial for figure 8… I saw the vids of Jason Lee doing it, but i can’t figure how to do it.

Having the same problem. Anyone able to “talk it through?”
I guess I’ll figure it out eventually but a couple of words might help.
The first video explains it well but when you got to move the yoyo infront of your hands think about moving your hands more then the yoyo.
Bringing up an old thread but when i try the trick i get extra wraps around the axle. Can anyone point me towards the correct direct?
You need to lift your arms a little and curl in, there is a very subtle rejection that happens as the yoyo comes around.

That is correct. The first rotation is where you get the extra wrap, and if you follow with your throwhand correctly it’s kindof a cross between a rejection and a simple unwraping. It’s really hard to explain, but if you exaggerate your motions you should figure it out.
