So, we all have “favorite strings”.
What exactly are those characteristics that makes a string your favorite? (Softness? Stiffness? etc.)
-Generally, What string material is your favorite?
Firm but soft.
Smooth, but not slippery.
good weight and no frizzies.
Not too bouncy, but not rigid.
Fast slacks without having to throw hard.
Nylon blends (non-wooly)
I never found someone else that made my perfect string, so I make my own.

My favorite blend right now is a mix of maxi-lock poly (very traditional feeling polyester, comes in neon colors) and maxi-lock stretch nylon (comes in white, adds some slickness & bounce & longevity). I use a ratio of 2 to 1, poly to nylon.
I do like Airetic also, but I like having more traditional strings on most of my yoyos since I loan them out a lot, and handing a super slippery string to a new thrower is not a great idea.
