been giving this one a lot of thought since i saw it pop up. i think I’m rdy to put a few thoughts down. this is through the lens of my fav style is 1a and i enjoy more tech oriented play. it makes me feel like I’m playing cat’s cradle with a gyroscope and that’s neato

Dreamcraft
asora is just amazing! i love everything about it. it feels like a fh-esque yoyo with modern capability and feel. it’s forgiving but clean play just feels next level 
also @suspense is an amazing yomie and the dreamcraft team is creative and just great humans. and the art. dreamcraft’s incorporation of art into the brand identity is just so fun!
Edition
aspen is a phenomenal design. the ti caps look, feel, and sound (sound is not for everyone) fantastic. it is capable well beyond my skill cap and @Aridnavleez showcases its ability better than i could ever hope to. it has just the right amount of tweaks to comfort and such that makes it ride an interesting balance of performance and casual, chill feeling play. reflection is a rare gem in the collection. It’s power and stability is unreal. slower, heavier pacing and just feels premium af. @MaximShoots is an awesome guy and one of the most accessible business owners I’ve ever met. communication is unmatched and Max genuinely wants to make a great experience along with a great yoyo and Edition’s team philosophy is super dope. mad respect

we all know em. lots of us love em! top tier machining, interesting and creative designs, pyramatte, and…SIDE EFFECTS!!! se may be one of the single greatest yoyo innovations since the ball bearing, fite me 
my fav od models are brainier which is big, bubbly, but also performance forward, and pano. pano will highlight all the slop in your play. but once you hit that groove with it…oh my!
CLYW
avalanche was my second al yoyo but my first premium purchase. i still love it and it’s one of my favs still. it’s a little more narrow and old school feeling, but it also has a great play feel thats present but not hvy or bricky. moves well and isnt reluctant but it def isn’t “speedy”. wish has blown me away! it’s so powerful i throw my longest combos at it and im standing there trying to figure out what to do with all this extra spin time. it’s one of my lightest feeling yoyos in play, but that might not be saying much as most of my collection leans heavier and slower. i don’t have much personal interaction with caribou lodge as a company, but i respect @unklesteve interactions with the community that ive observed. i also love reading the blog and design notes. clyw is very open about design discussions and i like that as I’m very fascinated with the design process

SPYY Pure, Doorknob, Succion - none hollow feeling despite being literally hollow (play very solid and present)
, so i do not agree atmos was design for this
fruitloop and cephas are hollow / empty feel - nothing to do with caps, i cannot explain for words, it is just the feel i get with poorly design yoyos
