In 2023, Gunju made a stunning debut at the World Yoyo Contest, advancing to the finals and emerging as the World Yoyo Contest 4A Champion. His routine, set to “The Middle,” symbolized his growth, with “E.O.M” standing for “Evolution Of Middle,” inspired by his surname.
Drawing inspiration from his hero Rei Iwakura and the beloved “Flawless series,” Gunju secured second place at the Online World Yoyo Contest 2022 with the “Contrail” and won the World Yoyo Contest 2023 with the “Flawless Air.” These successes led to the creation of his signature model, the “E.O.M.”
Based on the “Flawless series,” the “E.O.M” features a two straight line design, with slight modifications to improve proportions and floatation. It’s lighter at 78.6g, crafted from POM material with adjusted weight distribution. The design reduces center weight, enhancing rotational burst power and spin time, blending the stability of the POM “Flawless” with the flexibility of the PC “Flawless Air.” The “E.O.M” is Gunju’s most powerful and perfectly suited yo-yo yet!
