As you can see, the laser engravings on the rim of my edge are slightly off when the yoyo is screwed together. Is this a design flaw or is it something not to worry about?

just prob screwed it a little too tight

Itās normal. Iāve had 6 Edges, of which I think 2 had engravings that lined up.

Happens on my Duncan s too. They come in lined up,until if I take it apart to clean the bearing. The axel just screwed itself one way or the other. Itās normal, shouldnāt affect play at all( or enough to matter).

Another vote for āitās normalā. Should be nothing to worry about since itās purely cosmetic.
For efficiency, I strongly suspect the laser engraving happens with the yo-yos disassembled and in separate batches of left and right halves since the graphics are different per side.
Iām much more annoyed the fade doesnāt line up!
