I would really like to get my AC coated like the dri-ywet is. does anyone know how I would go about doing this, or if it’s even possible?
I think it has to do with the surface treatment done before being anodized. They use different processes, so while you CAN have it done, it might not be as simple as many of us might like it to be. It’s certainly not impossible, just not as easy as we’d like it to be.
I really like how the surface is of the Royale and my soda blasted Agape. That seems to be a really good grinding surface. The orange peel finish done on some One Drops is really amazing too.

I think the Dri-Ywet was actually copper plated instead of anodized? It’s going to be kinda difficult to find a good copper plater.
The Dri-Ywet is copper plated. Local plating shops are pretty numerous no matter where you live, so that won’t be an issue. The problem you are going to run into is that the Arctic Circle was not designed to be plated, so you may run into issues with the bearing seat.
