Does glue affect performance?

Recently I broke one of the loop 1080s I got, where the cap of one of the sides just dropped out. To fix this I just added a little bit of super glue and BAM its back on. Since I just started trying out 2A, I can’t really tell if it is affecting.

So what I really want to know is, does adding a couple of milligrams of glue to a looper affect performance?

Probably not. My guess is unless you have a super fine scale you couldn’t even measure it.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

I’ve glued caps in may yoyos, as well as other parts - no issues.

The same exact thing happened to me and in the past 9 months since it happened, I’ve felt no difference. Also I have 6 other 1080s to compare it too.

It definitely affects my performance. I get really dizzy and giggly.

Drugs are bad, mmmkay?

This is why you use spray paint. What is this? Amateur hour?

Pat Mitchell got one of his Raider cap popped off during a contest in the past (like 2001). He didn’t change the yoyo out.
Classic wooden yoyos are pretty inconsistent (wood are never consistent) that both sides can have different weight, they can loop.
Yes yoyos are precision made, but not THAT precise.
