At least your father HAD a brick to play with. When I was young we didn’t have the luxury to play with bricks. I had a pet stick. Actually; it was more of a twig that I named: ‘Kevin’. Kevin was my best friend until he finally left me for a beautifully cut 2x4. Times were tough back then.
This looks so sick, always wanted to see those big cities and construction that people do, watch many youtube videos about it and see what people create, seems like there is a big scene behind Lego and Lego designers.
Also this seems such a nice weekend activity
What set is that?
#71819 Dragon Stone Shrine
Released in March. I had to have it - goes well with my Botanical/Bonsai themed sets.
Finding inner peace at my brick temples.
It’s an awesome set. Some of the Ninjago sets have really awesome details and very nice trees.
Anyone else have any Build-a-moc sets? This butterfly is super cool. Turn the crank and the wings flap.
I have a similar butterfly that I got from some third party site. I’ll get a pic later. It’s not as cool as that one.
Just a few of my son’s builds. Please ignore his junky sofa; it belongs to his cat. Notice the tipped-over waste can on the left courtesy of said cat. Yes - I picked it up.
I got that white Porsche it’s nice and detailed!
Yes, they are very intricate. Most have steering and gears forward/backward. The wrecker has a hydraulic system for raising and lowering the tow arms. Very fun. I like the Ghostbuster’s car too.
What is up with that string on the yoyo? Looks grey and very dirty or something.
I imagine its a gray connector cable , or some other lego part. The MOC builder seems dedicated to using only said gear, so i dont think its a string.
Edit - after a closer look, it is a string/cord , but ive definitely seen it used in Lego sets. Recognized part for sure.
