Does anybody know how good the Yomega X2 is?

It’s a fairly recent metal yoyo released by Yomega. Does it play on par with other yoyos in its price tier?

Nope not really. There are much better yoyos at that price range. I used to have one. Grabbed it on a whim bc I was curious but nah that yoyo kind of stinks. Very low power, unstable, uncomfortable in hand, fought way too much with rejections. Also though—it is a yoyo and did spin enough. I could do my tricks with it, but I had to fight the yoyo to get that done vs feeling like the yoyo was making it easy. It was unsatisfying to play.

Well that’s a shame. I’m always hoping for a Yomega to make a big come back and hit a homer but… Raider really is peak Yomega to this day…

I enjoy throwing a yomega groov around every now and again. It’s got a little vibe to it but it’s a nice one to toss in your pocket and not worry about.

That’s one I want to snag haha

I grabbed this one in a bundle, I’m not disappointed. I’ve got worse things around here :joy:

this is a yoyo that made me want to quit yoyoing. its bad in almost every conceivable way. shape leads you to think it would be powerful, but its anemic and unstable. its sharp as hell on the catch. it doesn’t spin very good. it vibes like a poorly tuned diesel engine.

i was given one as a joke by someone who had one and had more or less the same things to say I just did, i swore it couldn’t be as bad as they said so they sent it to me. low and behold, it was just as bad as they had to say.

Edit: I wanna hear @kawaii.kaede s take on this thing, she has the best take downs tbh

i’ll send it her way, i dont want her to have to spend her own money on it.

Yomega x2 is sincerely the worst yoyo on the market. It is more valuable as scrap than it is in it’s actual form. If you hate yourself, buy the yoyo. If you hate someone else, buy the yoyo for them.

They say that on the cross Jesus saw every sin that humanity made. If that’s true, that means he saw this yoyo be released and still sacrificed himself and I find that hard to believe.

no one deserves that, have some humanity.

Honestly has yomega ever made a good yoyo in the modern era of yoyos? I mean, the fireball and raider were huge for their day but I don’t think i have seen anything remotely relevant from Yomega in 20 years.

They had the Prodigy, branded as a Yomega but machined by One Drop. It’s pretty awesome.

Sounds like the Rev-G has some competition

You know, I think I saw @Luke_Renner post a pic up recently of an x2 out and about, curious of his thoughts

Well you all talked me into one. I’m not letting this opportunity escape me.
