I’m missing one of the red O-rings from my Gladiator Slave MMXV. Does anyone know where I could a get (near) identical one?

McMaster or amazon, figuring out the size is the annoying thing with orings. If you have a specialty hardware shop near you they can help you with the size and probably sell in non bulk quantities
Most any hardware store has a good selection. Don’t know what you call them in Australia, but they sell things like tools and plumbing, and electrical supplies in the U.S.

Does anyone know whether they’re rubber or silicone or something else? I don’t know if the colours follow any kind of standard either.

Standard rubber o-rings should work just fine. They might be a tad less responsive than silicone ones though. Back in the day people started siliconing the o-ring grooves. So that’s a good alternative. Stacking response pads in the groove could work too…

The ones on my wide sport are red rubber, I am unsure the specific chemical compound tho
If they were red they are gonna be silicone. Just like industrial silicone o rings.

Red o-rings could also be Nitrile.
I wish there was an officially listed diameter or thickness anywhere… but even the material is a mystery.
It seems like finding an exact match for the one you have left could be tricky. I think that taking the yo-yo and remaining ring to a hardware store is the best option. You may find that you can determine the size andmaybe the material (by feel) . If none of the available materials seem right, you can at least take the size and look for on-line options.
Can’t you just measure and weigh them?

Never mind then haha. I thought they were like that cheap industrial red silicone that feels kinda weird compared to nice silicone. My bad!

They’re supposed to be 1g each. I have no scales are accurate enough to verify that though. I can measure the outer diameter, but that will not tell me their thickness…
You probably just need inner and outer diameter, seems like nitrile and silicone densities overlap a lot so the exact material probably doesn’t really matter for play at least.

There aren’t any coloured O-rings at hardware stores here, so I’m left with the absolute crapshoot of online ordering. 
I really don’t like subpar substitutes… there’s a reason I get my One Drop yoyo boxes straight from One Drop. Could I slap the stickers on any old box? Yeah, but it’s not the same!
If anyone has any insight into where Frank could’ve been sourcing these, or if there are any official specs for them, please speak up! O-rings don’t just materialise out of nowhere!

Could probably ask them, or buy a bunch that seem close enough in size and match them yourself.
