My apologies, I didn’t mean to come off with attitude lol, I’m like 99.87% sure it’s not silicone, it just feels more dense and isn’t as shiney, see below.

I think he got them wherever he could. I’ve had a number of difs and they’ve been mostly black or blue.
Yes, in the U.S. during the time Frank made yoyos inch size was most common.
The ones in my GTO are blue. OD is approx. 1&7/8 in. ID is approx. 1.5 in. Thickness is 3/16 in.

To get the dash number measure the ID and the cross section and check against this chart and you should be able to figure out what imperial standard they are.
