so i have a kk and since i have no other things to lube it i assumed it died. now when i play with it its a bit responsive. Is this normal?
try cleaning it
It should be fine. I would recommend cleaning it and then adding a drop of lube though.
Clean it then use some thin lube. 
The only way to really kill a bearing is to either break it or bend it so its not perfectly round anymore. If its just making noise and its a little responsive then its easily fixable. All you need to do is clean it with either some lighter fluid or mineral spirits. Yes there are more things you can use but these seem to work the best. Then you can lube it with some YYJ thin lube, Trumpet valve oil, Remington gun oil or many other extremely thin types of lube.
