dark sonic and finger spins

Well traded for a dark sonic and can’t do finger spins the best. I got longer spin time on my avalanch and irony jp so is there a technique to it or should i just stick to my flat face yoyos

It just takes some practice to get the finger placement and technique right. You can do tricks with “finger spins” on the Avalanche, and other yoyos, by catching the cup with multiple fingers or finger/s and thumb. It cuts down grind time more, but it can be done. You can also do short finger spins with one finger and the yoyo tilted a little bit, like an IRG grind.

i can do it on all my flat faced alluminum yoyos except the dark sonic , its sleep time is horrible on the finger spin compared to the irony jp and ava

Oh, okay. Well, some of the Dark Sonics weren’t bead blasted, so that will cut down grind time. It shouldn’t be that bad though. The Dark Sonic was made for horizontal and finger spins, among other things. Spinning on one finger, bead blasted or not, the grind times should still be pretty good. Sorry I couldn’t help you more, man.

its beadblaste just cant ge to the center I can do it wonderfully on my theory now
